Today is Employee Appreciation Day – it is a day to thank you and celebrate you!
It is a day to admire your resilience, determination, and commitment; recognize your contribution, innovation, and hard work; and declare that because of you and what you do, the University of Redlands continues to educate the hearts and minds of students.
I recognize the past few years have challenged us as individuals and as a campus community. Yet, you continue to show up and bring your best to work every single day, demonstrating the Bulldog spirit that proves that nothing is impossible.
It is that spirit, passion, and dedication to the University’s mission that led me to choose Redlands and now that I have had the opportunity to work directly with many of you, I know I made the right choice. I am excited and energized to start working together on the future of the U of R, and it is fitting on this day as we celebrate you, that together we develop a vision for the University through our strategic planning process.
Please join me this afternoon at the Strategic Planning session from 2 – 4 p.m. in the Casa Loma Room to share your thoughts and ideas. To ensure this session is as enjoyable as it is productive, we are providing local beer and snacks. After 4 p.m., enjoy the rest of the day on us as a special thank you!
