Inauguration Day Activities

Dear University of Redlands Staff:

The Inauguration on Wednesday, February 23, is a day to celebrate the University of Redlands and our wonderful community. Your participation is what will make the day special. I hope very much you will join in the celebration!

You and a guest are invited to attend the Inauguration Day activities, and you can register at this link.

A few highlights:

The Inauguration Ceremony will begin in Memorial Chapel at 10:00 a.m. If you plan to attend the Ceremony and have a degree from an institution other than Redlands, please consider representing that institution in the Ceremony Procession. For more information and to see if we already have a representative from your university, email Jeena Epperson in Alumni & Community Relations.

REDTalks in Glenn Wallichs Theatre, 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. We will be announcing the fantastic lineup of presenters who will be speaking soon. Stay tuned!

Dinner is On Us. If you would like to have dinner in the Commons on Inauguration Day (prior to the Party on the Quad), please register at this link.

Party on the Quad, 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. Come dance, celebrate the end of the Forever Yours Campaign, and break in your dancing shoes while enjoying the sounds of the amazing Los Angeles-based band LoveStoned with drinks and dessert.

On a personal note, the Presidential Inauguration on Wednesday, February 23, is the day I am officially installed as your president and a member of this incredible community. What an honor it is to be a part of this community and University. I hope that you will be a part of the celebration, enjoy each other’s company, and appreciate what we, the University of Redlands, have accomplished over our long and distinguished history, while anticipating the bright future we will build together.

Sincerely,
