University of Redlands named Fulbright Hispanic-Serving Institution Leader for 2023

Dear University Community,

Today, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs announced that the University of Redlands has been named a Fulbright Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) Leader for 2023.

Our University is one of only 45 institutions to receive such an honor. To have our work as a Hispanic-Serving Institution recognized is truly a tribute to our exceptional students and the commitment of our incredible faculty and staff.

For over a decade, the University of Redlands has wholeheartedly embraced the ideals and goals of the Fulbright program. We take great pride in our consistent recognition as a Top Producer of Fulbright students, having developed and sponsored 28 Fulbright students since 2008.

Let this achievement be a source of pride and inspiration as we continue celebrating our Hispanic-Serving Institution status and dedication to equitably meeting the needs of all our student populations.

I encourage anyone interested in learning more about our Fulbright program to contact the University’s Fulbright Program Advisor, Julie Townsend, at julie_townsend@redlands.edu.

Sincerely,

Krista L. Newkirk
President
