Additional Opportunities for Input on Shared Governance

Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,

We sincerely thank you for your continued participation in the shared governance planning process, which is invaluable to improving our overall framework.

We have reached a pivotal milestone, having identified members of the Shared Governance Task Force. These members, listed below, will play an essential role in shaping the future of shared governance at the University of Redlands. We want to express our appreciation to them for taking on this important service to our University, and we thank everyone in our community for dedicating their valuable time and expertise to this endeavor.

In the coming weeks, the Task Force will be reaching out to the campus community to seek your input on the “Statement of Shared Governance” they will draft, and we invite you to actively engage in this process. Your involvement will offer valuable insights as we strive for greater transparency and growth.

Additionally, Dr. Danny Anderson, the University’s shared governance facilitator, will host “office hours” on the Redlands campus for anyone wishing to contribute additional suggestions about shared governance. During these office hours, Dr. Anderson will host individual 15-minute meetings, which will be held in the Armacost Library, Room 108. He can also establish a Zoom link for anyone who prefers to meet virtually.

You can use the scheduling application Calendly to book your meeting.

If you have any questions or suggestions regarding shared governance, please feel free to contact Dr. Danny Anderson directly at danny@drdannyanderson.com

We appreciate your unwavering commitment to the University and the shared governance process.

Sincerely,

Krista L. Newkirk
