Use of Student Planning

Using Student Planning, you can develop a four-year course plan, communicate with your advisor, search for classes and register for classes, and update your plan. For help with student planning, refer to the video on the Registrar's home page, or contact the Registrar's Office at registrar@redlands.edu.

Class Registration

Students may search for classes, prepare for registration, and register for classes using Student Planning.

Complete information, including privacy of student records, Student Planning use, schedule of registration times, Spring academic calendar, and Spring finals schedule, is found here: Registration Instructions.

Adding or Dropping Classes

Students may add and drop classes online during online registration periods. Student Planning registration will be open for adds and drops until January 2, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. During the first week of the term online registration will reopen and students will be able to drop courses and add courses online with faculty approval. Further instructions for adds/drops will be sent to your email.

Waitlists

Course waitlists will be electronically managed for Spring 2020.

Advisor Approval

Students use Student Planning to plan their academic program in consultation with a faculty advisor.  Advisors provide verification of this consultation before the student may register for classes.

Registration Groups

Students are assigned a registration date and time based on credits completed. Registration time schedules are posted early each semester. Refer to the time schedule for your day and time to register.

Check-In

At the beginning of each fall and spring semester, all students must pay for the semester's tuition and fees and complete all appropriate financial and Student Affairs paperwork. New students will complete an online check-in process and returning students will receive an email requesting confirmation their current information.
