Return from a Leave of Absence

We look forward to welcoming you as you return from your leave of absence. This page will guide you through the process, including the registration and housing information.

We recommend you contact the University at least 6 weeks prior to the start of the semester, if you have not already communicated your plans to return. This will allow ample time for you to work with the Registrar’s Office, Residence Life and Housing (RLH) and any other entities to ensure a smooth transition and a successful return.

First, be mindful of the advising/registration period and contact your academic advisor to be ready to sign up for classes via student planning. Advising and registration periods can be found on the academic calendar

Second, email to discuss your intentions and options for housing.

Third, solidify your insurance. The University requires all enrolled students to submit proof of health insurance on an annual basis. Please visit the Student Health Insurance page as soon as possible for information on health insurance and/or waiving the student health insurance plan.
