Roundtrip airfare from Washington DC to Spain and Morocco, lodging (double occupancy), two meals a day, program reception, site fees, ground transportation and program fees.
Travel to Washington DC, one meal per day, ETIAS visa waiver fee, personal expenses.
Explore religious and cultural diplomacy, historically and in the present, by meeting with diplomatic and religious leaders and by visiting cultural and religious sites in Spain and Morocco. Learn the history of Islamic, Christian and Jewish civilizations and their interconnectedness. Come face-to-face with Spanish and Moroccan architecture, language, medinas, and spiritual places and practices. Cultivate skills of communication with everyday Spanish, Arabic and French speakers in local neighborhoods. Experience smells and tastes of Spanish and Moroccan cuisines.
