There are many reasons that you will need to shelter-in-place or the campus will be locked down when there is a potential threat to our campus community.
Please view this flyer to know the difference between sheltering-in-place and a full lockdown.
Examples of sheltering-in-place would be: a chemical spill, or major fire where the air is polluted.
Examples of lockdown would be: an active shooter or armed person on campus, where there is potential for physical harm.
