The BM in performance is a four-year program consisting of course work in the major (individual instruction, performance class, major conducted ensemble, chamber music), core music studies (theory, aural skills, music history, conducting) and a minimum of 30 credits outside the Conservatory of Music that will provide a broad education in the spirit of the Liberal Arts Foundation. A junior and senior recital is required. The performance major is available in voice, piano, organ, violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar, jazz/studio guitar, harp, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, and percussion.
