Landmark agreement makes Redlands education possible

The partnership between the University and the Chaffey Joint Union High School District creates a pathway for all Chaffey District students (beginning with the Class of 2017) who apply and meet the minimum requirements to be guaranteed admission at Redlands.

President Ralph Kuncl and Vice President for Enrollment Kevin Dyerly were special guests with a special purpose at the Chaffey Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees meeting this week. Dr. Kuncl and CJUHSD Superintendent Mathew Holton signed a landmark agreement that will make a University of Redlands education possible for all Chaffey District students (beginning with the Class of 2017) who apply and meet the minimum requirements to be guaranteed admission at Redlands. The agreement includes: 

  • $10,000 minimum scholarship to every admitted student
  • Waived application fee
  • Four-year graduation pledge
  • Overnight campus visits for students
  • Campus tour for selected counselors and AVID teachers
