The pre-med/pre-health professions program has been designed to help students meet the requirements for entry into medical school while providing maximum exposure to core science competencies in a liberal arts context. The program also helps students meet the requirements for entry into graduate programs for additional health care careers and can be combined with any major.
The pre-med/pre-health professions program is not a major, but a series of core and recommended courses combined with advising. The health professions advisors provide students with support and information concerning course selection, the MCAT and other entrance exams, application procedures and letters of recommendation.
