Students who suspect that they may have learning disabilities or an attentional disorder should schedule an appointment to discuss the issue with our office. The number to call to schedule an appointment is 909-748-8069 or you may email ASA@redlands.edu
Testing can be arranged through the Accessibility Office in Student Development. The University of Redlands has developed relationships with local psychologists qualified to assess learning disabilities, and will provide referral information. The student must contact the psychologist to set up an appointment for testing and needs to sign a release to allow the psychologist to forward the psychological evaluation to the Accessibility Office.
Once the testing is completed and the student has received the results, the student is encouraged to reconnect with Accessibility Services to go over this information in more detail and discuss possible academic accommodations.
