Student Learning Abroad

When you have the power to make a difference,
how far are you willing to go?

  • To Salzburg to serve with THEO Animal Shelter, Exit 7- Youth Service Shelter, Caritas Notschlafstelle-Homeless Shelter for the Impoverished, Neue Mitteschule Lehen- Migrant middle school and Bosnian Buddies- a partner program to the University of Redlands's "Big Buddies".
  • To Guatemala to immerse yourself in the culture and learn about third world communicative disorders.

These faculty-led courses are filled with life changing experiences for students passionate about learning and serving. All of this is part of our time-honored tradition of giving you the chance to put your knowledge and heart to work for the betterment of the world.

Why we do it?

Service is part of the Redlands culture and students can and do make a difference. When you come to Redlands, you'll find more than volunteer opportunities. You'll find a selection of service learning opportunities, travel courses, independent service internships, chances to work with faculty on research in far-away places, and most importantly, a community of like-minded students who believe that service knows no boundaries.
