Breann is an experiential educator who fosters self-efficacy in emerging leaders. She began her journey in outdoor recreation through a canoe course at Young Harris College, an experience that shaped her holistic understanding of education and inspired her vocation and research. After several years of non-profit work, managing overnight camp operations, and wilderness expedition programs, Breann joined the University of Redlands in 2021. Driven by promoting equity in recreation spaces, Breann is passionate about facilitating growth, mentoring leaders, and expanding access.
Breann earned her Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Leadership, Appalachian Studies and Community Engagement from Young Harris College (2016), and a Master of Arts in Outdoor Adventure Leadership from Wheaton College’s Center for Leadership Development (2018).
