Bay Area residents now have a new option for getting a quality MBA at a competitive price in their own backyard. The School of Business will add the Redlands MBA to the Marin campus offerings effective January 2021. Applications will be accepted through Nov. 16, 2020.
“Redlands School of Business faculty teach critical 21st century business skills and purposeful leadership in our curriculum to ensure graduates are prepared to excel in today’s complex, global economy, where transparency, ethical decision-making, leadership, and strong communications and analytical skills are essential,” said Thomas Horan, the H. Jess and Donna Colton Senecal Dean of the School of Business. “Our MBA provides strong foundational knowledge and business skills that have helped thousands of graduates accelerate their careers.”
The 12-course program is designed for working adults who want to advance their careers by completing a 24-month graduate program one course at a time, one evening per week. Students can choose to study general business management and administration or select a concentration in marketing, finance, global business, or location analytics.
“More than 95 percent of our 2020 graduates were satisfied with the impact, quality, value, faculty, and curriculum of our program,” added Horan. “And more than 80 percent of our 2020 graduates reported becoming more valuable to their organizations as cited by their superiors and executive leadership, 40 percent received a promotion, and 47 percent cited getting a better job while in our program as a result of their enhanced business knowledge, skills and confidence in championing new ideas. Over the last 40 years, the School of Business has developed a strong community of 30,000 thriving alumni.”
The Redlands MBA will now be offered at all eight University of Redlands campuses, fully online and in a hybrid format for students who like a balance of online and on-campus coursework and interaction. It is the intent to have courses taught on-campus in January, if deemed safe to do so. Otherwise, classes will begin remotely and return to campus when state and health guidelines indicate it is safe.
The Redlands Marin campus offers seven degree programs through three professional schools: School of Business, School of Education, and Graduate School of Theology. These include a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, MBA, Bachelor of Science in Business (degree completion program), Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching, Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, and Master of Arts in Theological Studies.
The MBA program is competitively priced before financial aid or tuition discounts at around $30,000-$40,000 and available to Redlands alumni for $25,000. The admissions process is easy and includes a free online application, short essay, current resume, and official transcripts.
