Dear University Community,
We’re excited to share that the University of Redlands, and our Woodbury campus in Burbank, are enjoying a moment in the social media spotlight.
Many of you will remember that in 2023, global K-pop phenomenon Aespa chose our Redlands campus as the backdrop for one of their music videos, which has now surpassed 168 million views on YouTube, and introduced millions of fans worldwide to the beauty of our University.
Now, we’re seeing history repeat itself in the best way: K-pop group RIIZE just released a new video filmed on the Woodbury campus, and it’s going viral. Posted on May 19, the video has already surpassed 12 million views!
This kind of attention highlights the value of having campuses in such distinctive and desirable locations. Woodbury’s proximity to Los Angeles film and production hubs, in particular, makes it an increasingly attractive site for creative professionals searching for their next standout location.
Beyond the excitement, opportunities like these introduce our campuses, and the University of Redlands name, to new and broader audiences around the world. They highlight what makes our locations special and continue to open doors for creative collaborations.
We’re especially grateful to our outstanding Event Services teams on both campuses. Their behind-the-scenes coordination makes high-profile productions like these possible and helps position our locations as sought-after destinations for creative professionals worldwide.
