Master of Music in Performance
The MM in performance is a two-year, 32-credit program designed for musicians who have completed an undergraduate degree in music and want to pursue intensive graduate studies in performance. Two graduate recitals are required.

What is a Master of Music in Performance degree?
Through the study of intensive performance, you will participate in two graduate recitals as part of the program and choose from a performance major that includes voice, piano, organ, violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar, jazz/studio guitar, harp, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, and percussion. The first recital must occur before the completion of 20 credits. Between twenty-five and fifty percent of the repertoire for one of the recitals must consist of chamber ensemble works (larger than instrument plus keyboard). The combined recitals must contain at least one work written within the past fifty years. The content of each recital must be approved by the student's graduate committee.

Program info
The Conservatory of Music offers rolling admissions for graduate programs and will continue to accept applications throughout the year. However, the deadline for graduate assistantship consideration is April 1st.

- Official transcripts from all schools where a bachelor's or master's was or will be conferred. *In some cases transcripts from other institutions attended may be required.

• Feast of Lights is a University of Redlands holiday tradition since 1947, the Feast features the choral and instrumental programs.
• Opera Workshop performs a major production with orchestra each spring.
• Musical Theatre and Opera have the School of Performing Arts (SOPA) students work in collaboration with faculty to produce and perform a full staged musical production or opera in alternating years.
