Accessing myRedlands

Use your University user-ID (Firstname_Lastname@redlands.edu) and password to log in to my.redlands.edu, your student portal. Details regarding your initial login information will be sent to the email address you provided during registration. If you are having difficulty logging in please contact ResNet at ResNet@redlands.edu

Through myRedlands you can access:

Canvas: Canvas is your interactive online learning management site. Here you will find general course information, including the course syllabus, course announcements and other resources provided by your instructor. Your instructor may use Canvas as a primary method of communication so check this site frequently. To access Canvas click the Canvas link on the menu bar at the top of the myRedlands page. 

WebAdvisor: WebAdvisor allows students access to their personal and academic profiles. This feature is available on the right-hand column of the myRedlands homepage. On WebAdvisor you have access to: 

  • Address change
  • Financial aid status by year
  • Financial aid status by term
  • Search for classes
  • My class schedule
  • Final Course Grades
  • Grade point average by term
  • Transcripts (www.GetMyTranscript.com for official copies)

Email: Your University of Redlands email account is created upon completion of the first-time enrollment. A shortcut to your email is located in the first block on the right hand side of the myRedlands homepage. Click the University of Redlands Webmail link to access your account or you can access it directly via the following link mail.redlands.edu.

Office 365: As a student at the School of Continuing Studies, you have full access to Office 365, a free web based version of Microsoft Office software. Once logged into your myRedlands account, select the “One Drive” tab on the black bar at the very top of the page. Once logged into your OneDrive, select the red application squares at the top left of the page. Here, you will have access to all Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.

Additional Information

Textbooks: Course textbooks may be found and purchased at the campus bookstore or online at https://redlands.bncollege.com/ Select Textbooks > find textbooks > and select the appropriate term. Textbook information is typically posted one month prior to the start of a course. Contact the campus bookstore at 909-748-8950 for any questions.

Parking: Parking is free during the evening at all Redlands campus locations but a parking permit is required. For more information please visit the Department of Public Safety.

Attendance: If you are unable to attend a course meeting for any reason, please contact your instructor regarding your absence. Attendance is essential to ensure you perform well in the course. If you fail to notify your instructor, or you have two unexcused absences, you may be administratively withdrawn from the course.

Grades: Please be advised that if you are seeking a certificate, you must pass all required courses with a 2.0 or better.

Withdrawing from a course: If you are no longer able to participate in a course and would like to withdraw you must submit a completed drop form. To obtain a form, please contact the Student Success Center at ssc@redlands.edu
