Psi Chi

What is Psi Chi?

Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology. It was founded in 1929, with the dual goals of recognizing the achievements of psychology students and providing stimulation and support for a scholarship advancing the science of psychology. Psi Chi is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Psychological Society (APS) and sponsors programs of student research at regional and national psychological association meetings.

The society also publishes a quarterly magazine, Eye on Psi Chi, which provides information on such topics as chapter activities, graduate school admission, careers in psychology and current research in various fields of psychology. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies.
