Rasool Azari, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the School of Business at the University of Redlands where he has over 18 years teaching experience. Before joining the University of Redlands he had over 12 years of experience as project manager, design engineer, and research associate working gin interdisciplinary multinational corporations in Germany and the U.S. including General Electrical Medical Systems, Litton Guidance and Control, and MTS Gmbh. He has been a consultant to the national Institute of Standards and Technology.

Rasool holds a master's degree in business administration in international business and a doctoral degree in engineering management from George Washington University, and a master's degree in electrical engineering from UCLA. He has published on the impact of socioeconomic factors on technological change and the digital divide.

Michael Brown, M.B.A. is senior procurement manager at Life Technologies. He is also the current president of the San Diego chapter of the Institute of Supply Management, the largest supply management association in the world. Michael previously worked for Hewlett Packard; among other positions, he served as HP's director of North American procurement and director of global process reengineering.

Michael holds a bachelor's of science and master's of business administration from Boise State University. He has completed additional certificate programs in education at UC San Diego and in technology management at UC Santa Cruz. He is a certified professional supply manager and certified purchasing manager.

Barbara A. O'Keefe, B.A. is Procurement Manager for Alomax Technologies, a telecommunication sub-contractor. Prior to joining Alomax, Barbara served 15 years as senior purchasing agent for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing. Barbara previously served as procurement manager for St. Louis based Affinitec Corp. for 6 years. In addition, she has been a member of Institute for Supply Management since 1980. She has been on the board for of the National Association of Purchasing Management St. Louis and Inland Empire chapters.

Barbara holds a bachelor's degree in business and management from Lindenwood University.

Teresa M. Romero, C.P.M., C.P.P.B. started her career in an entry-level procurement position in the aerospace industry and rose through the ranks. She joined the public sector and has held positions with the City of Costa Mesa and Orange County, which she currently serves in operations management for purchasing and contract services.

Teresa holds the Institute for Supply Management's certified purchasing manager's (C.P.M.) certification. She also holds the accredited purchasing practitioner (A.P.P.) credential and the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council's certified professional public buyer (C.P.P.B.) certification. She was the Orange County chapter chair for the California Association of Public Purchasing Officers.

Avijit Sarkar, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the School of Business at the University of Redlands where he teaches a variety of quantitative courses in operations management and management science. He is a recipient of University of Redlands awards for outstanding research and outstanding teaching. He is the director of School of Business undergraduate programs.

Avijit holds a master's degree and a doctoral degree in industrial engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His research interests are in business analytics and geographic information systems in operations research, and logistics and has published widely in academic journals.

Krystal D. Vaughan, M.B.A. is a senior material requirements planner for San Diego Gas and Electric where she is responsible for purchasing distribution transformers, electric switches and other renewable parts and maintenance equipment. She also has experience in cash services, electric meter services and the gas department.

Krystal holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from National University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Redlands. She is a past member of the National Association of Purchasing Management, San Diego chapter, and served a 2-year term on the board of directors as the director of public relations.
