Every year our students extend their learning beyond the classroom to complete more than 120,000 hours of community service. From mentoring local youth to building houses for homeless families in Mexico to raising disaster relief funds, students immerse themselves in endless opportunities to make the world a better place.
These experiences broaden their awareness, empower their contribution, and strengthen their connection to the larger community.
Community Service Learning's (CSL) mission supports, recognizes and promotes the educational benefits of learning through service, and encourages University of Redlands students to build healthier, stronger communities. CSL works collaboratively with faculty, school districts, and nonprofit agencies to form partnerships in service outreach.
Nationally recognized as an effective model for creating meaningful and engaging experiences for students while meeting community needs, CSL celebrated its 25th year in 2016-17.
We invite you to explore our pages to discover the many programs CSL has to offer.
