Athletic Facilities

The University of Redlands offers a variety of outstanding athletic facilities for use by its more than 450 student-athletes.

Many of them came to fruition or received significant upgrades during the 1990s under Jim Appleton's original tenure as University president. The University remains committed to continually working to improve them in an effort to provide the highest-quality facilities for our 21 intercollegiate teams.

Home to water polo, swimming and diving, the Thompson Aquatic Center is situated along Brockton Avenue, just in front of Ted Runner Stadium, which houses Ashel Cunningham Track. Moving east on Brockton, the Fitness Center and Athletic Training Facility reside in the Field House, which also serves as home to the football, baseball, track and field and cross country coaches' offices.

On the south side of campus, the basketball, tennis, softball, soccer, volleyball, cheer, sports information and the main athletic offices reside in Currier Gym. Verdieck Tennis Courts are to the east of the building next to the orange groves and the Softball "Field of Dreams" is placed just over the small hill to the south, nestled beneath beautiful trees and a spectacular view of the mountains.
