Dr. Terri Horton is a workforce futurist and founder of FuturePath, LLC. Her expertise sits at the intersection of the future of work, artificial intelligence, and the impact on business and people strategies. She is a consultant, corporate trainer, futurist coach, international speaker, and author who delivers high-impact and future-focused strategies and solutions for organizations, business professionals, and entrepreneurs.
 
Dr. Horton is a widely recognized thought leader and a subject-matter expert with two global research consultancies. She was included in the Onalytica 2022 Who’s Who in the Future of Work as a key opinion leader and expert with high credibility and authority. In 2022, Thinkers360 also ranked Horton as a Top 25 thought-leader on the future of work. She has provided strategic insights for the Pew Research Center, Forbes, and the Obama Foundation Scholars Program. She is a TEDx speaker and the author of Force Majeure: A Futurist’s Guide to Boldly Thriving on Your Terms in the Future of Work.
 
Dr. Horton holds a Doctorate in Education degree focused on organizational change and leadership from the University of Southern California. She also holds a Master of Arts in Management degree from the University of Redlands and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She has micro-credentials in AI (Artificial Intelligence) business strategy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and data analytics and human resources from Cornell University. She is a Workhuman® Certified Professional and is EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 certified; and holds SHRM-CP, PHR, and SWP human resource industry credentials. Dr. Horton is an instructor at the University of California, California State University systems, University of Redlands, and is a course facilitator at Cornell University.
