Originally from Englewood, Colorado, Sebastian Brown joined the University of Redlands as a wide-eyed Bulldog in the fall of 2012 as a first-year student. After making the most of his time at Redlands, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, playing for the men’s soccer team, studying abroad, and much more, he continued to call Redlands home by furthering his education as a graduate intern for the Office of Community Service Learning and earning his Master’s degree in Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs in 2018.

Realizing the power of higher education has on communities but acknowledging the barrier of access for many, he transitioned to the Office of Admissions at Redlands and quickly enrolled in the School of Business & Society to take advantage of the MBA–Location Analytics program.

Brown, who now works as an undergraduate admissions counselor at the University of Redlands, recruits high school students to Redlands from several parts of California as well as throughout the Rocky Mountains and Mid-West. He was inducted into the Student Whitehead Leadership Society in 2021 and is graduating with honors as a member of Delta Mu Delta International Business Society. He aspires to use his newly gained knowledge in business and location analytics to redefine the college admissions landscape, and to inspire others to be change agents within their communities. He also plans to pursue a doctorate degree in the future.

His optimistic approach to the future motivates himself, and hopefully, others, to be their very best. He credits his family, friends, peers, professors, and the University of Redlands community for shaping him over the last 10 years into the scholar and leader he is today.
