We want to ensure that you have a successful start to your education journey. This page contains everything you need for the next steps during your enrollment process. Our staff members are here to provide support in order to help you succeed each step of the way.
If you have not already done so, accept your School of Business & Society offer of admission so that we can create your Redlands email and new student record.
After accepting your offer of admission, watch for two emails “University of Redlands Account Information” and ”University of Redlands Password Credentials.” These emails contain vital information needed to access your Redlands email and the MyRedlands Student Portal that you will utilize throughout your time as a student.
Use your credentials to access the MyRedlands Student Portal and look for this icon:
Visit https://www.redlands.edu/military/ for Military and Veteran Services information.
Orientation provides the information new students need to successfully start their program.
All newly admitted students will receive an email with details for the date and time of New Student Orientation.
Continue to check your email regularly for further event information throughout the year.
Access Self-Service Student Planning to register for classes. Your enrollment counselor will walk you through this process.
Bulldog Onboard in Canvas is an online source of valuable information and important resources for new School of Business & Society students. It will help you prepare for your program of study, as well as help you navigate through your degree program.
Further Canvas information will be provided during New Student Orientation. Canvas is accessible through your MyRedlands Student Portal. Locate the below icon in the portal.
Canvas is the campus learning management system (LMS), used by instructors and students as the online hub of instructional activity. Students use it to manage their course requirements, find course materials, submit homework, assess their course progress, and communicate with instructors and classmates about course assignments and requirements. Canvas can be used to supplement in-person lectures, or to manage blended/hybrid or fully online courses. It is hosted in the cloud, and works comfortably on mobile devices.
There may be reading and/or other assignments required prior to the first night of class, therefore we recommend you purchase your textbooks as soon as possible.
Textbook information can be found in the syllabus (find your class in Canvas), or on the bookstore website. Speak to your enrollment counselor if you have questions about your textbooks.
