High School Group Visits

Before you begin planning your tour, please read over the points below.

The information below is exclusively for high school and current college student groups or community-based organizations with chaperoned students. If you are an individual or family wishing to tour, please schedule your tour here.

  • Group tours last 90 minutes.
  • Group tours will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis (assuming they fall within the guidelines below). Colleges reserve the right to accept or deny any group tour request they receive.
  • We ask that requests are limited to one group per school/organization to allow for as many student groups as possible to have a chance to visit campus.
  • We are only able to accommodate one visit per requesting organization.
  • Our offices purposely limit the number of students and chaperones that may attend a group tour. Our schedules overlap so as to allow large groups to break up into small subsets.
  • We can accommodate groups of up to 50 people (not including chaperones), and ask that you provide one chaperone for every 10 students. If you are not able to have that amount of chaperones you will not have a guided tour for your visit.
  • University of Redlands is not able to provide meal vouchers to visiting groups. Due to COVID, you are welcome to order boxed lunches for your group prior to coming to campus (card and check only). Groups are welcome to eat outside at our approved location.
    • Please note: You must order and pay seven (7) days before your visit to assure your order can be processed for your visit. Checks need to be sent to 1259 E. Colton Drive Redlands, CA 92374 Atten: Harvest Table Catering. You can also pay by card by calling, 909.748.8969 or 909.488.9374.
    • If you have any questions about your order after it is placed please email young-amber4@harvesttableculinary.com or call 909.748.8969 or 909.488.9374.
  • If any chaperones or students do not follow our COVID guidelines or pass the health questionnaire, we will not offer you a student-guided tour and will be given self-guided campus tour maps to tour yourselves on campus. This includes during the overview session or tour, at any point, your group can be directed to do the rest of the visit on your own.
  • All in-person visitors must wear their masks on campus at all times (other than eating and drinking) and each chaperone will complete a health questionnaire per group when arriving on campus. (Please survey your group before leaving your campus).
  • When you arrive on campus we will divide and assign all groups by color. To ensure social distancing and safety please make sure your students stay together. we will have your groups split into the smallest groups possible during the tour
  • Please note: Due to university policy, we ask that all groups attending a group visit bring a certificate of insurance (COI)* sponsored by their organization. Please email the certificate of insurance before your visit date. If you have trouble obtaining your certificate of insurance, please email visit@redlands.edu  immediately.
  • Free parking is available on each of our campuses.
  • We are small institutions, and as a result, our tour guide availability can be very limited at times. Because of this, there will be no exceptions to the schedule listed on this website.
