Favorite part about the location of Redlands? I love Southern California! Coming from Chicago, the Redlands location is a lot warmer and absolutely gorgeous!
Favorite hangout spot on campus? I spend a lot of time in the library, especially during finals!

Favorite Class or Professor: Every class I’ve had with Dr. Nicholle Andrews, especially Producing a Virtual Concert, being taught by her and Brad Andrews.
What do you like or look forward to in your major or emphasis? I really enjoy the atmosphere in my classes since we all share a passion for music and education. I’m looking forward to continue to learn the specific techniques I’ll use in my career and gain more confidence as a teacher because of it.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? I like our proximity to many different environments/activities (LA, Big Bear, Joshua Tree) while still being in a suburban town where I can generally feel safe. I also like that we’re not integrated with the city and we have a distinct campus feel.
Favorite hangout spot on campus? The tables outside of Watchorn Hall give you a great view of the quad and sunsets. There and in the Watchorn lobby, I also get to see lots of friends walking to and from classes, and I meet students I might not otherwise.

Favorite Class or Professor: My favorite course was Business, Baseball, and American Life. This was a great course because we were able to take a deep dive into the analytics of baseball as well as the business side of the sport. This course happened during May Term which also allowed us to go to two baseball games. During this course we were assigned a team and were asked to act as the team’s Owner and General Manager to look at their budget and think of ways to improve the team.
What do you like or look forward to in your major or emphasis? In my last year I am looking forward to writing my Senior Capstone paper. This paper will allow me to take a deeper look into a research topic of my choice.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? My favorite part is that any adventure is only an hour away including the beach, mountains, and desert.
Favorite hangout spot on campus? My favorite spot to hang out on campus is the pool.

What do you like or look forward to in your major or emphasis? I like that Business is super versatile. I plan to work in Human Resources or Admissions at a University once I graduate.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? Redlands is less than 2 hours form the beach, the city, the mountains, and home!
Favorite hangout spot on campus? My favorite spot to hang out on campus is the Quad. I like to bring blankets and have study sessions with my friends.

Favorite Class or Professor: Professor Ocegueda is one of my favorite professors because he was able to understand my learning style and motivate me to do the best in all my work. Also, he is a very funny, kind, and understanding professor. He honestly just made every aspect of Spanish as fun as it could be.
What do you like or look forward to in your major or emphasis? I am looking forward to building up my resume and looking at various internships and opportunities in the future. My goal is to be a video game marketer, so getting to find a job within that industry would be difficult but rewarding.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? My favorite part about the location of Redlands is the different activities you can do in the area. You can go to big bear, beaches, movie theatres, and more!
Favorite hangout spot on campus? My favorite hangout spot on campus is the quad because it can be a relaxing area to do homework or a great place to hangout with friends. Most of the time, my friends and I would have some blankets out and just take a moment to enjoy the beauty of Redlands.

What do you like or look forward to in your major or emphasis? As I head into a career as a Speech and Language Pathologist, I’m looking forward to working as an SLP in an educational setting through a K-5 school where I can become a teacher, role model, and foster a connection with each of the students I see to help them grow, overcome their speech deficits, and accomplish their own speech and language goals.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? If I had to choose my favorite part about the location of Redlands it would have to be its close proximity to big Bear and Disneyland. I love the fact that on weekends I can road trip with my friends to either one of these places and have a blast enjoying the beautiful Southern California weather and have a fun time!
Favorite hangout spot on campus? My favorite hangout spot on campus would have to be the Quad. From enjoying the sunshine, to picnics, listening to music, and doing homework and art, the Quad has always been my favorite place to not only do any one of these activities with my friends but also a great place to meet new people on campus as well!

I’ve been lucky enough to have taken two of her classes and she is an amazing scholar and person who has a genuine passion for teaching and cares about her students. This past semester I took her Energy and the Environment class and she really made virtual learning feel fun. She puts so much care into making her class thorough and fair and I learned so much from her.
What do you like or look forward to in your major or emphasis? I am looking forward to being able to learn more about how the policy system of the United States works and be able to use that knowledge to make the world a better place.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? The access to both the city and natural spaces is incredible, and the mountain views are gorgeous.
Favorite hangout spot on campus? My favorite spot to hang out on campus is definitely the Naslund Study Lounge. It’s so aesthetically pleasing and fun to hang out with friends there.

I’m really excited for this opportunity because I will be able to work with students to help provide more resources for student wellness.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? My favorite part of Redlands is the location. We’re right in the middle of Southern California so we can either go to the beach or up to the mountains to see snow.
Favorite hangout spot on campus? I like hanging out with my friends on the quad and have picnics. I love being outside under the trees and being able to have fun with my friends.

Favorite Class or Professor: I have enjoyed most all of my professors during my time at Redlands, but Candice Glendening, my Principals of Biology Lab instructor, stands out. She always has a positive attitude and high spirits in class, and I felt very comfortable approaching her about any academic or personal issue. She is a motivating, encouraging, and empathetic teacher who believes in her students. Professor Glendening made class fun while ensuring we learned the material.
What do you like or look forward to in your major or emphasis? I look forward to getting into my upper-division biology classes and interacting more with my professors and peers. I am excited to explore new and intriguing topics of my interest to open new doors for career opportunities.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? Redlands is an ideal city because it is located in sunny Southern California. It is near both the mountains and the beaches, so there are plenty of opportunities to plan fun activities year-round. The campus is surrounded by beautiful orange groves and gorgeous mature trees. There is a quaint downtown area nearby that has numerous eateries and unique shops.
Favorite hangout spot on campus? My favorite spot on campus is the Quad because of its beautiful view of both the Chapel and Administration Building. Redland’s extraordinary trees provide perfect shade for picnic dates with friends and cool study sessions.

Favorite Class or Professor: My favorite class so far has been the Chicanx identity class I took my first semester. This class gave me a new perspective on terms, labels, and forms of identity that are used by a lot of first and second generation communities whose culture goes back to Mexico and Latin America.
What do you like or look forward to in your major or emphasis? With my major I am looking forward to doing community work and giving back to the community. I would love to approach this by taking a path in education or counseling in the future while keeping my Race and Ethnic Studies degree as a base.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? My favorite part about the location of Redlands is the small communities around it, and how close (yet far) it is from my hometown of San Diego.

What do you like or look forward to in your major or emphasis? I am looking forward to being the person that knows what to do if someone has a tech issue, rather than being the one that has to ask for help. Also seeing which direction I go with spatial studies will be very interesting.
Favorite part about the location of Redlands? My favorite part about the location of Redlands is how close we are to the warm beaches. Growing up in NorCal the close beaches were a lot colder there than they are here.
