What is the pre-law pathway?

The Pre-Law Pathway will help you build a strong foundation in critical thinking, writing, and analysis. These skills are essential for law school and a career practicing law.

Declaring a concentration in Pre-Law at Redlands offers you a focused path to law school by providing tailored course selections, personalized faculty mentorship, and valuable internship opportunities. It also helps you build a strong professional network and receive dedicated support for the LSAT and law school applications, ensuring you’re well-prepared for a successful legal career. In consultation with your advisors, you will plan on majoring in a specific discipline, typically economics, government, history, English, philosophy, or sociology and anthropology.
