All teacher candidates who are advancing to student teaching, teacher residency, or a teaching internship must have a valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate at the time of application. CPR certificates must cover infants, children, and adults. The certificate must remain valid during the entire time the student will be completing fieldwork.
To eligible for an Intern or Preliminary Teaching Credential recommendation, candidates are required to have a valid CPR certificate.
