Eva Marie Beinsner, M.B.A. has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance and has worked as a controller for over 15 years in various industries. Currently, she is a business consultant assisting small-to-mid-size organizations with structural financial concerns, including cost analyses, internal controls and fraud mitigation.
Eva holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. She serves as treasurer for the Management Institute of Accountants and has earned a certificate as a fraud examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Jennifer Berry, M.F.A. is an award winning writer, director and performer. In her writing and speaking she explores issues of community, race and integrity in American life. Jennifer is a former radio host for American Public Media. There, she developed her own format and style of in-depth interviews with prominent theater professionals. As a public speaker, Jennifer often lectures on the arts in society, creativity, class and gender issues.
Currently, Jennifer is an instructor of playwriting at Antioch University where she is developing a new theater program and working with the psychology department on developing classes around psychological narratives, identity and character construction. Jennifer has also taught playwriting at CSU, Northridge, Naropa University and the University of Colorado.
Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree from University of Southern California, and a master's degree in creative writing from San Francisco State University.
Keith Boyle, M.B.A. is principal consultant with Quality and Productivity Resources. He has spent over 30 years working with manufacturing and high-tech organizations in North America, Asia and Europe. Prior to founding QPR in 1997 he spent over 10 years as manager, total quality assurance for Solar Turbines (Industrial Gas Turbines)/Caterpillar implementing Lean and Six-Sigma and provided leadership to their winning application in the 1998 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Keith is the program director for Lean Six-Sigma with the University of San Diego and was the Lean and Six-Sigma program developer, academic advisor and lead instructor with the University of California, San Diego. In addition, he is currently the education chair officer for the San Diego Chapter of American Society for Quality (ASQ).
Keith is an ASQ Certified Six-Sigma Black-Belt and a Certified Lean/Six-Sigma Master Black-Belt. He has also earned certifications in manufacturing engineering and integrated resource management from the Association for Operations Management. Keith also has earned the California Quality Award as an examiner and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of California.
Keith holds a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering from Manchester Polytechnic, U.K., and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Redlands.
Deborah Casanova, M.A. has been lecturing in the areas of business communications, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and international business for 14 years at schools such as California State University, Dominguez Hills, Mt. St. Mary's College, Santa Monica College and Los Angeles City College. Her communications experience includes several years with a large consulting firm in Los Angeles, focusing mainly on employee communications and retirement planning. She is familiar will all aspects of operating an international business.
Deborah holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing, a master's degree in business administration and a second master's degree in behavior sciences from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Kimberly Cass, Ph.D. has studied and practiced the Cheng Man Ch'ing t'ai chi chuan form for over 20 years and has taught t'ai chi classes for 15 years. In addition to her t'ai chi experience, Kimberly has over 25 years of training in many systems of movement, alignment, and body awareness. Considering herself to be a life-long learner of the t'ai chi form, she continually models an embodied learning process to all her students. Kimberly also teaches a course entitled Graceful Embodiment through the University of Redlands' Meditation Room, which is a basic introduction to t'ai chi.
Kimberly is a professor of information systems in the School of Business at the University of Redlands. Her current research interests center around the informational elements in the process of embodying expertise throughout time. She has worked to develop language and methods to convey concepts that are outside students' awareness and experience in such a way that students can discover kinesthetic feelings and reproduce complex postures and movements.
Derek D'Sa, M.B.A. has worked in corporate finance in Hawaii and California for over 25 years, and retired as the treasurer of Arden Group, Inc. Since retirement, he has worked as a consultant in corporate finance with large companies including Sempra Energy and Catholic Healthcare West. Derek is a long-time member, past president, and current officer at the Los Angeles Treasurers Club and a current member of the Los Angeles chapter of Financial Executives International, an organization of more than 5,000 financial professionals.
Derek holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from India, and a master's degree in business administration from San Jose State University.
Chris Danelski, Ph.D. has taught literature and media classes in Southern California for over 10 years. She currently teaches courses in economics, humanities and composition for the University of Redlands School of Business. In addition, she has served as a freelance motion picture editor on more than 40 features including Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Riding in Cards with Boys, and America's Sweethearts among others.
Chris holds a bachelor's degree in English from Swarthmore College, a master's degree in fine arts from Columbia University, and a doctoral degree in English from Claremont Graduate University.
Grant L. Doster, M.B.A. has 25 years of line management experience, having led sales, marketing, distribution, strategic planning, and business development in the entertainment, advertising, consumer products and banking industries. He has held positions including general manager at Pepsi and Miller Brewing, vice president of global sales and marketing at Walt Disney, and senior vice president of client services for a prominent national advertising firm.
Grant holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Redlands and attended the Graduate School of Retail Banking at the University of Virginia. He has worked as an independent trainer, facilitator and motivational speaker since 2005.
Michelle Burden French, B.S. worked in the non-profit sector in middle and upper management for 12 years before founding her own grant writing consulting firm, FUNDamental Concepts, in 1993. Since then, she has written over 5,000 proposals to local, state and federal government, private foundation and corporate funding sources. To date, FUNDamental Concepts has raised nearly $250 million for non-profit and public agencies in the Inland Empire of Southern California.
She has been a trainer for the Inland Empire Nonprofit Conference, the Support Center of San Diego, UC Riverside Extension, Riverside County Department of Public and Social Services, LA County Office of Education, RIMS Healthy Start Network and Southern California Fire Safe Councils.
Michelle earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Virginia. She received training in grant writing from the Foundation Center, United Way of America and Cal State University, San Bernardino.
Kamal Vinayak Inamdar, Ph.D., P.M.P. has over 30 years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing management, project management and finance. He has taught business and management courses at two California State University campuses.
Kamal holds a bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University, India, a master's degree in business administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a doctoral degree in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University. He is a certified project management professional.
Jill Walker Kowalski, M.P.A. is the owner of JWK Funding Solutions, an organization that specializes in grant research, proposal development services, grant management and other capacity building services for nonprofit, public and private agencies. Her clients include nonprofit organizations with budgets ranging from $300,000 to $18 million. Jill has experience in every aspect of grant making, having worked to implement and administer new programs funded with public and private resources. She has also worked as a trainer, presenter and facilitator for UC Davis, UC Riverside and the Riverside County Department of Public Social Services.
Jill holds a bachelor's degree in liberal studies and a master's degree in public administration from California State University, San Bernardino.
Bob Mehta, M.B.A., M.S.Q.A. is the principal consultant at GMP ISO Expert Services. Bob brings over 20 years of experience working at Allergan and Edwards Lifesciences, manufacturers of pharmaceutical, biologics, and medical devices. He has managed cGMP areas of quality, regulatory compliance, supplier quality, R&D, cGMP laboratories, global technical operations, and change control functions. Bob has participated in corporate audit programs to perform GMP, ISO/TUV (9001 and 13485), ICH (Q7A), and pre-approval inspection of global vendors, suppliers, and third party manufacturers. He has provided global training and presentations on risk assessment, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and Six Sigma methodologies. He teaches quality assurance, process improvement, and risk management courses at North Orange County Community College and the University of California, Riverside.
Bob holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Ahmedabad Science College, India, a master's degree in business administration from Pepperdine University, and a second master's degree in quality assurance from California State University, Dominguez Hills. In addition, Bob is a certified quality auditor, quality system auditor, Six-Sigma Black Belt, quality engineer, biomedical auditor, software quality engineer, and Lean Pharma certification recipient from Michigan Engineering College.
Joseph Mignone, B.S. is a principal consultant with JFM Global Associates. He has more than 35 years of professional experience in project management, accounting, leadership, change management, organizational effectiveness, quality management systems, quality auditing, Six Sigma, performance measurements, lean enterprise methodology, ISO standards and business management. Joe's work at Solar Turbines Inc. was instrumental in the organization receiving the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Award in 1998.
Joe holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the City University of New York. He has completed graduate work at USIU in international relations and marketing and also holds several professional certifications.
Teodor Sauca, M.S., P.M.P. is a recognized expert in applying financial and statistical concepts to assets and risk management. Ted has significant experience in the operational procedures, restructuring, risk management and technologies necessary to develop integrated solutions. He has served as a director of research for a national investment company, an international operations manager with a global engineering company, a program manager and an entrepreneur.
Ted has taught various management courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels at institutions including the University of Redlands, the University of Denver, the University of Southern California and Cal Poly Pomona.
Ted holds a bachelor's degree in accounting/operations/business management from the Academy of Economic Sciences in Romania and a master's degree in international marketing and operations from Northeastern University. He has earned a certificate in total quality management from University of Southern California and is PMP certified. He is fluent in seven languages: English, French, Hungarian, Italian, Romanian, Russian and Spanish.
Michael L. Sloan, M.A.M. is President and CEO of Kalma of California, Inc., a direct marketing company providing organic and health-related consumer products to the growing Hispanic market throughout the U.S. and Mexico. Previously, Michael served for over 25 years as the chief operating officer of a global apparel marketing and manufacturing company, providing leadership in management, brand licensing and business development. He also served on the board of directors of the Mid-America National Bank in Chicago. Michael is on the faculty in the College of Business at San Diego State University where he teaches social entrepreneurship and global strategic management.
Michael holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Roosevelt University and a master's degree in management from the University of Chicago. He is also received certification in management development for entrepreneurs from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
James Spee, Ph.D. is director of graduate programs for the University of Redlands School of Business where he has taught since 1995. He has more than 10 years of experience in community development, nonprofit management and organizational change management. He served as president of the Western Academy of Management in 2005/06, and has served on the boards of the North American Case Research Association and the Management Education and Development Division of the Academy of Management. He teaches courses in strategy, organizational change, leadership, communication, and organizational learning.
Jim holds a master's degree in business administration and a doctoral degree from Claremont Graduate University. His research focuses on the design of management education, measurement of learning outcomes and aviation education.
Rob Stone, M.Ed., P.M.P. consults on project management in manufacturing, health care and insurance, and works with non-profit organizations and government agencies as well. He works throughout the United States, and also in Europe, Africa, Australia, China and the Middle East.
Rob holds a master's degree in education from California State University, San Bernardino, is certified as a Project Management Professional and holds a certification in Six Sigma.
Michael P. Toothman, P.M.P.
is a certified project management professional and past president of the Project Management Institute, Inland Empire chapter. Currently, Michael is director of IMS Flightdeck, a supplier of aircraft and flight-related electronics, as well as the executive director of ProjectDriven LLC, a project management consulting and educational services firm. He has held a variety of leadership positions in the field of aviation electronics and communication and has worked with organizations including Rockwell Collins, American Airlines, Panasonic, Qantas Airways, FedEx, Japan Airlines, Omnitrans and the County of Riverside. He has taught a variety of project management, information technology and organizational development courses at UC Riverside Extension.
Deborah Van Huis, M.S., principal of Expertise On Demand, has over 20 years experience in the entitling and construction field, as well as general business project management expertise. She has served as vice president of forward planning, regional land development manager and in other leadership positions for businesses such as SunCal Companies, Centex Homes and KB Homes. She has also published articles on employee motivation and leadership.
Deborah holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in administrative leadership from Central Michigan University.
Antonio (Tony) Zavala, M.B.A. has more than 30 years of management experience in operations, human resources, and training and development at both large multinational companies such as McDonald's and small manufacturing and service companies. Tony is an expert in leadership, supervision and operational excellence and has consulted on many projects covering operational, tactical and strategic organizational issues.
Tony holds a master's degree in business administration from Pepperdine University as well as multiple professional certifications.
Jeremy Zimmerman, M.B.A. is the director of marketing at California Baptist University. In this capacity, he is responsible for guiding the university's marketing strategy including brand stewardship, advertising planning, program marketing and performance analysis. Prior to joining CBU, Jeremy was principal and director of public relations at AMR Advertising and Marketing. During his 10 years at AMR, Jeremy was involved in every aspect of agency operations from business development to account management. His clients were in a wide range of industries including consumer electronics, financial services, industrial security, manufacturing technology, and oil and gas exploration.
Jeremy holds a bachelor's degree in liberal studies from the University of California, Riverside, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Redlands.
