Meet Forrest

Forrest Hartl studied drama at UC Berkeley (B.A.) and playwriting at U.S.C. (M.F.A.). His plays tour with Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Programs and his short play, Mass Effect, is published by PlayGround-LA publications. Forrest's autobiographical play, The Whexican, was adapted into a short film and was a NuvoTV emerging Latino filmmaker finalist and premiered at the Tucson Film & Music Festival. His short film A Boy and His Dad won the award of merit at the 2015 Catalina Film Festival and was nominated for best US short at the Love International Film Festival and My Hero International Film Festival.
