Spanish in the World Today

Currently there are more than 400 million Spanish Speakers. Thus, by learning Spanish, you will be better able to communicate with Spanish speakers in general, but especially those who do not speak English. Most colleges and universities require that undergraduate students take at least two semesters of a foreign language. If you are thinking about pursuing graduate school, you should know that many require students to be able to read and comprehend one, and sometimes two, foreign languages.
