The Residence Life and Housing staff is excited to meet you at move-in! Please review all the information below thoroughly, as many of your questions will be answered.
Move-in Appointment: Please visit your MyRedlands Housing Portal and click on "Select a Time Block" under Assignments, located on the home page, to reveal the arrival times available on your assigned move-in day. Once you make a selection, click on "Update My Time" to secure your appointment. Be aware the times are reflective of your current location, so if you are outside of pacific standard time, be sure to take into account the time-zone difference. In order to maintain the integrity of a physically distanced move-in process, arrive promptly within the 15-minutes of your move-in timeframe. Should you arrive late, you will be instructed to return at a later specified time.
Guests: Students are permitted to host one guest at a time within the residential community on their move-in day. A guest may be in the community, accompanied by their resident at all times, until 4 pm. At that time, all non-University members will be asked to exit the building.
Face Coverings: All students and guests are expected to wear a face-covering over their mouth and nose at all times while in shared common spaces. This is to minimize the risk of exposure associated with a variety of people navigating the community throughout the day.
Empty Space: In the event you have an empty space in your room or apartment, now or in the future, a roommate will be assigned to you. For this reason, remember the bed and furniture for this space must remain available at all times. If you have an idea of who you would like to move into this space, please communicate that information with RLH@redlands.edu as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee requests will be met, but will do our best.
