Return to Housing

Hello Bulldogs! 

The Residence Life and Housing team looks forward to welcoming you to campus for the spring semester at the University of Redlands! To prepare for your return, we need to gather some information about your housing preferences.  

Return to Housing Form 

Complete the Return to Housing Form on the MyRedlands Housing Portal under Applications and Forms by November 27th. While placement is based on availability and, therefore, cannot be guaranteed, we try our best to use the information provided to meet your preferences and requests. Housing assignments take some time to coordinate, so we ask for your patience in hearing from us. You will be contacted via your Redlands email account in December with a Spring Housing Confirmation which will include information about your housing and roommate(s)/suitemate(s) assignments.  

If you have prior off campus approval, please complete the Return to Housing form by selecting "Off-campus (ONLY applicable for those with prior off-campus approval)" on the second question.  

Generic Housed 

For billing purposes, your housing assignment, which you can find under Assignments on your MyRedlands Housing Portal, will reflect "Generic Housed". Generic Housing is a placeholder used while assignments are being processed. Students are assigned this category which is replaced by the assigned hall and room once assignments are complete. 

Meal Plan 

To learn more about the meal plans offered and meal plan rates, please visit the Harvest Table website. You can make changes to your meal plan selection using your MyRedlands Housing Portal, starting November 20^th, if you prefer a meal plan other than standard All Access meal plan. For instructions on how to select or change a meal plan please click here. Final meal plan selections must be made by January 12th, the first Friday after classes begin.  

Spring Semester Check In 

Make your spring travel arrangements to check-in on Sunday, January 7th between 10am-12pm. All move-ins will be by appointment only and you will be provided further instructions in the housing confirmation email coming in December regarding how to select an appointment using the Move-in Appointment Time scheduler on the MyRedlands Housing Portal. Please note, if you do not make an appointment and/or miss your appointment time on January 7^th, key pick up will resume during business hours at the Student Affairs Office on Monday, January 8^th.
