The Office of the Chaplain

The Office of the Chaplain represents the University of Redlands' historical commitment to the life of faith within the academy and is an expression of the University's longstanding commitment to the education of the whole person.

Since its founding in 1907, the University of Redlands has striven to be a place where a student's intellectual, spiritual and moral character can grow and flourish. The Chaplaincy seeks to make welcome within our community the many religious traditions that flourish among our faculty, staff and student body.

The Office of the Chaplain is committed to creating and sustaining opportunities for all University-recognized religious groups. We will make every effort to encourage and enable these faith communities to express and nurture their beliefs and to promote interfaith and interreligious dialogue and cooperation. We will seek to strengthen the bonds uniting persons of faith with all people of good will. We will also provide pastoral care and counseling to members of the campus community.
