The Book Lending Program (BLP), part of the First-Generation Student Programs, ensures that the University of Redlands’ first-generation student body receives the support they need to access textbooks to help them achieve academic success. Funded through alumni, faculty, and staff donations, approximately $20,000 annually provides more than 1500 textbooks and rentals to over 300 students. The management that goes into the Book Lending Program (BLP) is a collective effort between Campus Diversity and Inclusion, Student Financial Services, Registrar’s Office, Armacost Library, and Information Technology Services.
