Sustainability in Action

Sustainability is a value of growing importance and urgency.  The University of Redlands actively promotes sustainability by sourcing produce from the on-campus S.U.R.F. Garden and through student and community collaboration.  Students are able to apply their classroom knowledge to spread awareness and implement climate change mitigation and adaptation methods.  The University of Redlands faculty and staff are dedicated to integrating sustainability and climate resilience into teaching, research, and campus operational practices.  The Geospatial, Climate, and Sustainability Initiative advances this commitment by funding innovative faculty grants, introductory GIS pathways, and student research across all campuses.  University groups, events, and organizations advancing climate action include:
