The Chemistry Department at University of Redlands is housed in new facilities that include state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratories.

Hands-on learning in advanced chemistry facilities

Our chemistry students, from first year through senior year, have hands-on access to advanced research-grade instrumentation—access typically reserved for graduate students or faculty at other universities.

All rooms are wired for internet access, and most classrooms are "smart" with computer-interfaced projection capabilities. All laboratories have constant-volume hoods and deionized water from spigots at the sinks.

We have access to environmental rooms, dark-room facilities, a dedicated computing facility (10 computer stations with molecular modelling software), a dedicated instrument laboratory, and a laser laboratory.
