Tony Rousmaniere, PsyD The Sentio Supervision Model: Deliberate Practice, Video, and Outcome Data IN PERSON OR VIRTUAL FORMAT

Enhance your clinical supervision with the Sentio Supervision Model! The Sentio Model includes Deliberate Practice, video, and outcome data in a 50-minute supervision session. This workshop includes a lecture, video demonstrations, and multiple live demonstrations with volunteer supervisors from the audience. We will walk you through how to use two useful forms: the Sentio Supervision Preparation Form and the Sentio Supervision Model.  Supervisors who are interested in participating in live demonstrations can volunteer by emailing Tony Rousmaniere at trousmaniere@sentiocc.org

Tony Rousmaniere is Executive Director of Sentio Counseling, Program Director of the Sentio MFT Program, and incoming president of the Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy, a Division of the American Psychological Association. He is the author/co-editor of many books on deliberate practice and psychotherapy training and the APA series “The Essentials of Deliberate Practice” (APA Press). 	Tracey Rollins Spann, LMSW and Robin Schlenger, LCSW Power, Privilege, Race, and Racism and Their Impact on the Supervisory Relationship VIRTUAL FORMAT ONLY

Chiku Malunga said, “when people come to work, they come with their full personhood”(2009).   In this workshop participants will explore what constitutes one’s “full personhood”, and how systemic racism has created barriers that devalue and dismiss the strengths, skills, and experiences that BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) folk possess and prevent them from fully utilizing their authentic selves in their work. Using Dr. Kenneth V. Hardy’s Privilege And Subjugated Task (PAST) Model, participants will examine specific actions that are critical to developing one’s ability to recognize, acknowledge, and discuss issues of race, privilege, and power as they relate to the supervisory relationship.

Tracey Rollins Spann: In 2017, driven by her passion for organizational development and efficiency, Tracey founded TRS Consulting Group, LLC to guide individuals, non-profits, social enterprises, and government entities to ensure they remain mission driven, culturally responsive, and effective. In 2021 she launched the African Centered Leadership Project focused on developing the skills and talents of leaders of color and those aspiring to lead. Tracey completed the National Association of Black Social Workers’ Nea Onnim Circle for African Centered Social Work, and Undoing Racism® by The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond. It was through these courses that Tracey really began to understand how deeply systemic racism and oppression impact people and communities of color in the United States and abroad. She is commited to helping organizations and individuals understand what it means to be anti-racist, and how they can shift their thinking and practice to truly provide equitable opportunities and programs. Robin Schlenger has many years of clinical and supervisory experience working in the nonprofit and public sectors. She is a practicing Anti-Racist Consultant, Coach, Organizer and Trainer, As a consultant, Robin specializes in facilitating presentations and trainings that are rooted in restorative and anti-racist principles. Robin is a current member of The People’s Institute of Survival and Beyond’s (PISAB) North East Leadership team and a member of The European Dissent (ED) leadership team, a group of people of European descent who “dissent” from the ideology of white supremacy. She speaks extensively on white privilege from an individual and organizational perspective and what it means to partner with people of color in antiracist work. She is also a regular contributor to the digital magazine, Three-Fifths and has co-written a chapter in Dr. Kenneth Hardy’s book The Enduring, Invisible and Ubiquitous Centrality of Whiteness.
