About Daniel Hall

Dan Hall joined the University of Redlands in March 2026 as the Interim Vice President of Finance. He comes to the university via the Registry, an organization whose membership includes experienced professionals who serve in short-term positions while a permanent leader is found. 

In this role, he oversees several departments, including Finance, Budget, Human Resources, Facilities Management, Public Safety, Administrative Services, and the University Bookstore.

Most recently, Dan served as Interim Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services at Presbyterian College, where he successfully led the development of a five-year operating budget forecast. He has also served in financial leadership roles at Walla Walla Community College, Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, Los Angeles Southwest College, and North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Dan’s experience also extends beyond higher education, including leadership roles with the International Society for Technology in Education, the Oregon Employment Department, and the Oregon Department of Human Services.

Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration

The Vice President for Finance and Administration reports to the President and serves on the President’s Cabinet. The vice president provides vision, leadership, strategic direction, management, and support for university operations.
