Alycia Olivar

Alycia has lived in many places, starting in the Bay Area and most recently in Erie, Pennsylvania. While in Erie, Alycia had the opportunity to work closely with a local theatre as the digital media manager for two and a half seasons. Some shows that the theatre produced on were The Brothers Size by Tarell Alvin McCraney, Crumple Zone by Buddy Thomas, Lizzie by Alan Stevens Hewitt, Steven Cheslik-DeMeyer, and Tim Maner. There was also an Originals Festival for which Charlotte Stowe – author of the headlining show Hades and the One Year Winter – attended from Boston and lectured on playwriting. 

Throughout Alycia’s career and many moves, theatre has been a consistent thread that has provided both stability and community. Alycia has performed in a number of plays (some of those being Layney in Kingdom Come, Miss Scarlet in CLUE, Hermia in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing, Queen of Diamonds in Alice By Heart), live improv shows, and recurring roles in many audio dramas.

Alycia is grateful to be a part of the University of Redlands and is excited to embark on many creative journeys with the department! Go bulldogs! 🐶
