Paul C. Jessup
About
Pauk Jessup is first and foremost a teacher — and a relentless, unapologetic, and uncompromising advocate for the children and youth of this state. He has served in California's public schools as a middle school, high school, and continuation high school teacher, a site principal, a district administrator in both business and educational services, a district superintendent, and completed his 41-year career after 12 years as the Riverside County deputy superintendent of schools.
His professional relationship with the university's School of Education as both an adjunct and full-time professor now spans more than 28 years. He has enjoyed watching former students become powerful advocates for the children and youth in their charge and is looking forward to working and learning with the next generation of school leaders and warriors in the fight for educational justice.
