About Pamela J. Gordon

I grew up in Silicon Valley in a family of engineers and backpackers. Consequently, it's not a stretch that my career has been in the tech industry, focusing on sustainability. After graduating from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Business Management and working my way up to senior analyst at an electronics-industry consultancy, I founded Technology Forecasters Inc. to help electronics companies to build responsible and efficient supply chains.

When my book Lean and Green: Profit for Your Workplace and the Environment was published, I expanded my firm's services to include profitable sustainability strategies. During these years, I trained more than one thousand product designers and students in Eco-Design and Circular Economy, wrote hundreds of articles, and gave keynotes and guest lecturers on the intersection of environmental-and-social sustainability and business value.

In 2018, I founded and directed PGS Consults, Presidio Graduate School's sustainability management consultancy, whose 15 faculty, alumni, and student consultants served international clients with ESG training for boards and executive suites, carbon accounting, life-cycle assessment, materiality assessment, EHS management system implementation, sustainability report writing, and ESG leadership playbook development. Today, I consult to global clean-tech companies, speaking and writing to spread their influence and attract investor attention, as well as teach sustainability management consulting at the Presidio Center for Sustainable Solutions, within the University of Redlands School of Business and Society.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and bicycling with my husband and son, and hosting family and friends for vegetarian meals.
