Ximena Ospina
About
Ximena Ospina is a proud immigrant, dedicated educational leader, and storyteller whose work is fueled by healing and strengthening our global community. She brings more than 13 years of global education leadership to the team, with deep expertise in inclusive program design, risk management, and restorative justice. As director of the Office of Global Education, she leads initiatives to increase access to global education and to deepen dreaming in collaboration with campus communities and global partnerships.
With a doctorate in educational leadership, her work centers on building bridges where minoritized communities are integral to the future of international education. She is the co-architect of the "Generational Dreaming" framework, derived from the co-creators' stories of her 2024 dissertation on Latinx/e student cuentos and the study abroad reentry experience.
