Professional Background

Jim Bentley was trained as a biostatistician and has experience in cardiology, perinatology, ophthalmology, pharmacology, and large-scale cancer studies. He has also worked on the collection and interpretation of archaeological data in Israel and on identifying factors related to homeowner satisfaction for a national corporation.

More recent work with faculty and students has included cancer studies, perception of intonation, and questions of authorship in music and the Bible.
