Beth Doolittle

Senior Lecturer
Math & Computer Science

About

Beth Doolittle teaches approximately four courses per semester. She proposed, designed, and now teaches the Integrated Calculus sequence, which combines pre-calculus and Calculus I material to better meet student needs. She also proposed a Brief Calculus course designed primarily for business students.

Doolittle is a longtime presenter at the annual AAUW STEM Conference for eighth-grade girls in both Redlands and the Pass area. She regularly presents information about mathematics offerings at the University of Redlands to Summer Bridge students and serves as math placement coordinator for first-year students and transfer students. She also teaches foundational mathematics courses for the University of Redlands School of Business.

From 2003 until November 2017, Doolittle served as handler of the university’s live bulldog mascots, Duke and Thurber.
