Suzette Soboti M.A.
About Suzette Soboti
Suzette Soboti joined the University of Redlands in April 1998 and has coached the women's lacrosse team since its varsity inception in 1999. She also serves as the women's soccer coach and a faculty member for the Department of Kinesiology. A graduate of Skidmore College (NY) with a double degree in Physical Education and Biology, her emphasis of study was on Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness or DOMS. Soboti was also the Thoroughbreds’ goalkeeper in both soccer and lacrosse and excelled at basketball. After earning a master’s degree in Exercise Science again with an emphasis on DOMS from Montclair State University (NJ), Soboti coached soccer for four years at Middlesex County College in NJ, as well as high school lacrosse, field hockey and basketball before moving out west to Redlands. In her spare time, Soboti enjoys crime series, movies and books, music, and outdoor pursuits. Soboti resides in Redlands with her husband, Brian Swinson, and their three dogs, Ivy, Snickers and Bode.
