Everette Davidove Ph.D.

Visiting Lecturer
Johnston Center for Integrative Studies

About Everette Davidove

Everette Davidove is a Cultural Studies scholar whose research focuses on questioning what education can be(come). As an alumnus of the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies at the University of Redlands, Everette has always been drawn to alternative models of education. In his work, Everette collapses hierarchical learning models into lateral ones to invite the co-construction of understandings, community, and agency for teachers and learners alike. In his teaching, Everette takes a student and community-forward approach in which students are invited to critically engage in meaningful ways with the course content, and one another. Everette holds a Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University and has taught undergraduate and graduate seminars at a liberal arts university, Cal State, UC, and an Ivy League.
