About

Ruijin Ma is a professor of geographic information science. Before joining the MS GIS faculty, he was a faculty member in the Civil Engineering Technology Department at SUNY Alfred State College. Professor Ma specializes in image processing and remote sensing applications.

  • Ph.D., surveying engineering and geodetic science, Ohio State University

Professional Background

Ruijin Ma’s research interests include LiDAR data analysis and applications, the photogrammetric processing of high-resolution imagery, and web GIS applications.
