Samantha Sterba is a political economist whose research focuses on social reproduction, health economics, and economic history. Her dissertation applied social structure of accumulation theory to case studies of recent U.S. health care reforms. Her current research examines the organization and distribution of care in the United States. She serves on the advisory committees for Health, Medicine, and Society and for Race and Ethnic Studies/Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
